Child Identification Program

In 2003, the Oak Lawn Police Department implemented its Child ID Program. Parents receive a two page printout containing their child’s pertinent information, a front and side color photograph, and fingerprints to keep for their records. Parents can also bring a 3½” floppy disk to have this information saved as a PDF file.

This program is conducted yearly during the Village’s Annual Fall on the Green festival in September. Parents can sign up on the day of the event for a specific time so they do not have to wait in line. The program is also conducted a few times a year at the Oak Lawn Library.

The police department will not maintain your child’s information.
