Zoning Petitions and Applications
The Planning and Development Commission and Board of Appeals are recommending bodies that hear petitions for a variety of zoning variations such as setbacks variations, parking, setbacks, subdivision and alley vacations. We encourage all applicants to contact the Village to assist with petition documents.
Planning and Development Commission
The Planning and Development Commission meets on the first and third Mondays of each month at 7:30pm in the auditorium on the second floor of Village Hall.

Zoning Board of Appeals
The Board of Appeals meets the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the second floor auditorium of Village Hall. The petitioner is required to be in attendance to discuss their request. Petitions must be submitted no later than 20 days prior to the date of the Board of Appeals meeting.

Architectural Review and Design Commission
All sign permit and commercial building elevation alteration petitions must be reviewed and approved by the Architectural Design and Review Commission (ADRC) prior to issuance of a building permit. The Commission meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month at 7pm, in Conference Room “B” in the lower level of the Oak Lawn Municipal Center at 9446 South Raymond Avenue.
