The Village of Oak Lawn is launching a multi-year project to make needed repairs to our parking garage which will extend the lifespan of the facility.

The garage will remain open during the renovations, however:  Please be advised that certain sections of the garage primarily on the 4TH and 5TH floors will be closed off during the repair work. No Parking signs will be posted. PLEASE ADHERE TO THE SIGNS OR YOU WILL BE TICKETED AND TOWEDTraffic patterns will be maintained, however travel lanes will be shifted with traffic control. While work is occurring there may be some occasional dust created as concrete and joint repairs are being made. 

Temporary additional permit parking for users will be located at:  North side of 96TH St. between 52nd Ave and Cook Ave. South side of Yourell Ave. between 52nd Ave. and Cook Ave. 

The First Phase of Repairs Will Begin on May 1St, and Continue Until Approximately August 15TH, of 2017.

Family Information: Married to Walter (Pat), mother of Colleen White (Peter), Walter (Jessica), John (Megan) and Timothy (Ashley); Grandmother of Grace Rita White, Ellie Jane White, Margaret Quinlan White, Peter Michael White, Walter Patrick Quinlan V, Calum Murphy Quinlan, Kade O'Neil Quinlan, Connell Patrick Quinlan, Brady William Quinlan, Luke Joseph Quinlan, and Grey Murphy Quinlan.

In 2008, Clerk Jane M. Quinlan became a Registered Municipal Clerk in the State of Illinois.  In 2009, Clerk Quinlan became a Certified Municipal Clerk and in 2014 became a Master Municipal Clerk, both the first in Oak Lawn through the International Institute of Municipal Clerks.

Village Clerk Duties 
The Village Clerk is elected by the residents of the Village to a four year term. Duties of the Village Clerk include: • Attending all official meetings of the President and Board of Trustees, and preparing the official minutes, subject to the direction and approval of the Board.
• Provide the Village Seal and attest for all ordinances, resolutions, contracts and bonds of the Village, and such licenses, permits and other documents as required.
• Act as the keeper of the Village Seal and affix it on documents whenever required. Give proper notice of meetings as required by statute, ordinance or direction of the Village Board.
• Act as the keeper of all documents belonging to the Village which are not assigned to the custody of some other officer.
• Perform other duties as required by state law and duties delegated by the President and Board of Trustees.

Primary goal as an elected official: Primary goal as an elected official: I am a determined lifelong resident who vows to frequently and clearly communicate the vision and goals of our Village to all of our residents. I will strive to handle the duties of the Clerk’s Office to the best of my ability.
