Remembering Oak Lawn’s First Lady

The Village of Oak Lawn sends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of former Oak Lawn First Lady Peggy Kolb, who passed away Sunday morning. Peggy and Ernie Kolb were Oak Lawn's First Family for the 26 years Ernie served as Mayor. 

Patricia "Peggy" Kolb, nee Carr was the beloved wife of the late Oak Lawn Mayor Ernest “Ernie” Kolb; Loving mother of Gayle Kolb, Gary (Cathy) Kolb, late Glenn, and Patti (John) Ernst; Proud grandma of Jennifer, Jason, Corinne, Kathryn, and John; great-grandma of Jacob; Dear sister of the late Joan (late Frank) Bulger and late Joyce (Dave) McCabe; Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 16, 2015 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Curley Funeral Home, 6116 W. 111th Street. A Memorial Mass will take place on Friday, January 8th, 2016 9:30 a.m. at St. Gerald Church, 9349 S. Central Ave., Oak Lawn; Interment Private.
