Fire Department Club

The Oak Lawn Fire Department Club charted on June 24th, 1942. The club was established to hold social and benefit functions pertaining to the betterment of the Oak Lawn Fire Department. This includes the morale building gatherings and meetings for the members.

The club has one (1) fundraising event per year, at this time. The fundraiser is always sent out by mail during the Fire Prevention Week, the second week of October. Some of the equipment that has been purchased over the years for the Fire Department has been from the generous donations from the Village of Oak Lawn Residents.

The club has meetings once a month at the VFW in Oak Lawn to discuss and plan requests from the Fire Chief or club members on equipment needed that would be beneficial to the department.
