Government
The Village of Oak Lawn is governed by the Village Board, comprised of the President (Mayor), Village Clerk, and six Trustees who represent six districts within the Village. There shall be one trustee for each of the six districts. The voters of Oak Lawn elect this Village Board.
The Village Clerk maintains all Village records including minutes, ordinances, and resolutions. The Village Clerk is also the keeper of the Village seal, publishes legal notices, and oversees Village elections.
Village Board of Trustees Meetings
The Village Board meets at 7:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month, and at 9:00 a.m. on the fourth Tuesday of the month at Village Hall Auditorium, 2nd Floor, 9446 S. Raymond Avenue, Oak Lawn. Agendas are available before Village Board meetings, and minutes are available following approval.
